September 20, 2004 To Whom It May Concern: I have come to know Mr. Juan Ruiz to be a knowledgeable and dedicated team member. He has the gift of seeing problems and opportunities. When faced with a mountain that seems impassable, he finds a way around it, over it, or through it. Allow me to share a few examples of this. Juan was instrumental in the development of an initial tracking system used by one of our primary units. This system was vital for tracking numerous facts and figures necessary in our everyday operations. After developing the system he took the time to sit with each team member and offer training on its wide-ranging functions while gathering feedback for the many upgrades that followed. Juan has always taken the time to answer every question and address each concern. He not only correct problems that arise, but he also explains the how's and why of the problem. In this way he has often eliminated a need for further intervention. On several occasions Juan was able to give me simple step-by-step directions to perform an operation via e-mail or telephonically saving us both time. After moving to a new job site I have been assisted by other computer specialists. However, I found that they often required outside help, advice, and/or instructions. The time frame for repairs and upgrades protracted greatly. I frequently contacted Juan for assistance and he graciously responded with his valuable ongoing support and assistance. Juan has strong work ethics, great energy, unlimited enthusiasm, and the experience, skill, and personality to carry him to whatever heights that he may choose to aspire to. Sincerely, Kathy A.
